*This post is part of the Write 31 Days writing challenge.
I first heard about Kathleen M. Basi through a link-up that I used to participate in and Her blog quickly became one of my favorites. I’ve also had the opportunity to read two of her books: This Little Light of Mine and Joy to the World. I rarely give 5 star reviews, and have only done so a small handful of times, but I have given both these books 5 stars. Both books are well written and chock-full of practical, real-life suggestions and activities for incorporating the spiritual into everyday life.
The best way to describe’s writing, particularly on her blog, is authentic. Real. Raw. Relatable. So many times when I read her blog I feel like she is writing just for me. Our situations are very different and we live very different lives but when Kathleen writes, I feel like she gets “it.” Whatever that “it” is. It is like she has the courage to write the words I am thinking. Kathleen is truly an “awesome” author and that I why I included her in my list. I encourage you to check out her blog and see for yourself. 🙂
