You can’t talk about awesome bloggers without mentioning Amy Lynn Andrews. She is absolutely one of my favorite bloggers, although she doesn’t blog much anymore. Instead, she has a “useletter” that goes out weekly that is loaded with blogging and other tips. I never fail to bookmark at least something from the “useletter.”
Her main focus is to help others start a blog, and she helped me so much in my own blogging endeavors. I was constantly scouring her websites for tutorials when I was revamping my personal blog a few years ago and I even went back to her website for refresher when I decided to revamp and revive this website. I love that her writing is geared toward the average person. She is clear, to the point, and offers very specific, usable advice.
She has also written a book, Tell Your Time, that I purchased a while back. It is short, practical, and it changed the way I look at time management. The biggest takeaway, for me, is the concept of leaving margins. It is the perfect book for busy people looking to take control of their time instead of allowing time to control them.
By the way, Amy Lynn Andrews’ blog isn’t just for newbies. Even if you are a seasoned blogger/writer, I am positive you can glean some useful and helpful tips too. 🙂
