My comments

Money Making MomAs you may know, I am a huge fan of Crystal Paine. I have been subscribed to her blog, Money Saving Mom, since the beginning and when I saw that her latest book, Money Making Mom was available for review, there was no chance I was going to  pass the opportunity up. 🙂

Crystal has a wonderful way of combining a personal, engaging writing style with solid, usable advice. She shares tons of stories from her own life, as well as from the lives of others, to help the reader get into the nitty-gritty of making a long-term income stream and finding financial freedom. And she does so with honesty.

You won’t find a “quick-fix” or false promise that you will make a million dollars in a day. She is completely forthright about the challenges and struggles that come with starting a business. On the other hand, she doesn’t make the reader feel as if starting a business is impossible, either. She provides a middle-ground approach that gives hope and encouragement to the reader.

One of the things I love about the book is the exercises that come with each chapter. These exercises help the reader to focus and gain clarity, and they also help the reader to think more deeply. And, these questions are not just for beginners. Even though I already know the business I want to start and am beginning those steps, I still gained many insights from working through the exercises. In fact, even if you are a veteran business owner, I truly believe you will get a lot out of this book.

There are so many good things about this book and I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to make (or increase) her income. I give Money Making Mom five (5) stars.
